Directions:
From I-94:
From I-94 take the Connor
Road exit. Head South on Conner towards
the river for 2.4 miles until you reach Jefferson Ave.
Turn right on Jefferson Ave. Continue
East on Jefferson Ave. for 2.8 miles.
The bridge to Belle Isle is on the South
side of Jefferson Ave. on your Left
At the end of the bridge follow the road to
the right - this is a one way street - follow the road
1.5 miles until you come to the single story blue brick
building on your right.
From I-75
From I-75 take I-375 that leads into downtown Detroit.
(from the north I-75 turns into I-375 - From the south
take Exit 51 B to I-375)
Travel South on I-375 for 1 mile and Exit at Jefferson
Ave. East
Head East on Jefferson Ave. for 2
miles.
The bridge to Belle Isle is on the South
side of Jefferson Ave. on your Right.
At the end of the bridge follow
the road to the right - this is a one way street -
follow the road 1.5 miles until you come to the single
story blue brick building on your right.
Consistent with all
Michigan state parks, a Recreation Passport is
required for vehicle entry to Belle Isle ($11 for
Michigan vehicles, $5 for Michigan motorcycles).
If you didn’t check yes to the Recreation Passport
when you renewed your license plate, or if you will be
visiting with a nonresident vehicle, you can purchase
a window sticker
at the entrance booth or at the Administration
Building (White House). Nonresidents pay $31 for an
annual pass or $9 for a day pass.
